FREE ARCHEOLOGY @ the Giornate del Teatro romano di Milano

The 1st of May offers another, unofficial, Milan- Culture Week.

After the museums’ entry at the cost of 1€, from the 3rd to the 8th of May, Milan and its Chamber of Commerce will host  the Giornate del Teatro romano di Milano, a two thousand years ago – dip in the history of the city.

The events will be at Palazzo Giureconsulti, 2,Piazza Mercanti.

From the 3rd to the 7th of May – meetings and tasting  in the launch break at 12 to 13 pm. Free for the participants the libretto sulla cucina antica (the book of the old cousing).

From the 3rd to the 8th of May-Giornate del Teatro romano di Milano: meetings, shows, culture and tastings.

Settimana della Cultura in Milan

If you enjoyed Fuorisalone and Milan Design Week 2010, you can’t miss Settimana della Cultura (The Culture Week), from 19th to 25th April, throughout Italy.

During this 12 th week and for ten days, all the public artistic places will be open and free: monuments, museums, archaeological sites, libraries and important events.

Thanks to MIBAC for the organization, many artistic areas will be the centre of beauties and fun.

So, here there are all the great events you can’t miss, starting from Pinacoteca di Brera.

After Fuorisalone, whit the scandal of Madri col Bambino exhibition (Mothers with son) – real young mothers feeding their children closer to the most famous artworks about this theme- three new masterpieces become part of Pinacoteca (from the sculptors Vincenzo Vela and Luigi Antonio Acquisti and from the painter Luca Carlevarijs).
For those who missed CAMPARITIVO in Triennale: here there is a second chance for you, named Fill the ARTmosphere.

Free entry on Tuesday, 20th April 2010, from 6pm to 11pm (6, via Alemagna) with the happy hour, Good Music, Campari Drinks & Art Exhibitions with the architect Fabio Rotella that will introduce  the outside lamp Abat- jour “Urania” (Dj Set James R.). But also ECODESIGN OBJECTS and OXYGEN in Triennale.
